YOUR PHILOSOPHY OF TEACHING:
As a teacher, my goal is to help students become more intrinsically motivated and thus more comfortable with. their educational experiences. I hope to shift students to become more intrinsically motivated to learn by incorporating multiple modes of teaching course content including instructional videos, class activities, and supplemental materials. I also believe that students may be more willing to learn when information resonates with them. I design course assignments that encourage students to relate course materials with their own course of development and experiences. College students are going through many transitions socially, cognitively, and physically. I want to make the learning process as stress free and enjoyable for them as possible. By bringing positivity to learning in my class, I hope students will try to apply the same attitude to other classes and their education as a whole.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO TEACH?
