Yvonne M. Randolph is an Instructor in the Department of Management at Southeast Missouri State University’s Donald L. Harrison College of Business and Computing. She is a doctoral candidate (ABD) in Health Administration at Central Michigan University. She holds a Master of Science in Mass Communications from Arkansas State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications-Journalism from College of the Ozarks.

With over 25 years of experience in healthcare, gaming, and higher education, Randolph has worked in administrative roles focused on marketing, management, and student affairs. Her background in healthcare includes administrative roles in a rural hospital, where she worked on patient satisfaction, strategic communications, and operational improvement. In higher education, she has served as Director of Academic Advising and Student Activities and Director of Admissions, supporting student success and institutional outreach.

She has also been involved in healthcare-related entrepreneurial projects, including a consulting firm focused on patient satisfaction and leadership development and an in-home care agency providing services to aging and disabled populations. Additionally, she co-owned a vegan restaurant in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

At Southeast Missouri State University, she teaches healthcare marketing, management, and training and development courses, drawing on her professional experience to support student learning. Her research interests include expanding access to care in Delta Regional Authority counties, the role of telehealth in rural healthcare, rural healthcare workforce development, and international health initiatives.

She is a member of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) and the International Leadership Association. She received the Provost Award for Online Teaching Excellence at Southeast Missouri State University for her contributions to online education.
